Ruth Jatib O'Connor
+ Kardarius Haku Rhinehart

Tuscaloosa, Alabama

Artists Kardarius Haku Rhinehart and Ruth Jatib O'Connor are currently working on two collaborative mixed-media projects. They aim to achieve bringing artistic unity to a place where there is a divide. Through this work, a physical and conceptual space will be created, which focuses on interactions between two individuals that would otherwise not have a reason to interact.  Art creates a space for us to tell our stories, to express our thoughts, to have a sense of security, and to allow our creativity to be shared to many. This collaboration showcases the approaches that make us unique while blending the differences into a cohesive piece. Through this work, they encourage other artists to share their unique perspectives and hopefully challenge people to look beyond their pre-defined spaces and relationships.

Kardarius Haku Rhinehart is a visual artist that has an abstract expressionism focus. His primary choice of work is painting and drawing.  Haku received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Studio Art from Stillman College in Tuscaloosa, AL. He currently attends Full Sail University studying to receive his Master’s of Fine Arts degree in Media Design. @thereal_haku + @_studio858_
