Resistance in Resin
Natalie Zoghby
2020
resin, flower, metallic flakes
Finding solace and peace in her garden during the 2020 Coravirus pandemic, artist Natalie Zoghby turned to the dirt to look for guidance. Grown from seeds in her garden these flowers were then preserved and cast into resin. With the goal of continuing to create more and leave them behind at racially fraught historical sites in Birmingham, AL.
